This was my first real R/C car. I bought it through a hobby shop in Dublin, CA. It was on consignment. I replaced the manual speed control with an electronic one, and I also replaced all of the bushings with bearings.
What an improvement! Runtimes more than doubled.
I've driven it in a couple of parking lots, and took it to the on-road track at Delta R/C once (before they closed it). Other than that, it has just been sitting there, waiting for some attention.
