One day, a friend of mine (Hi Erik) mentioned that he had a spare body and some extra paint. He said I could paint his spare body for some practice. I thought it would be fun.
I started by hand-painting a few spots (like the rollbar). Then, I tried out the paint he gave me to use on it. It splatted all over the place. It was too old. So, I proceeded to use some paint I had.
I think it turned out excellent! One of my best works. I mentioned it to Erik, and told him I didn't know if I wanted to give it back. He said "well, if you want to give me the $25 it cost me, you can buy it from me". Well, I didn't even have an RC10T3, so I couldn't use it. I gave it back to him.
He never said "thank you", or "hey, let me pay you back for the paint". Hmmm... Oh well. You live and learn.
